Day Six and Seven - June 24 and 25, 2006

Weekend was a quiet one. I mostly slept and read. I went on a morning walk with friends on Saturday, which was nice. The temperature was hot, but didn't nudge above 100 (thank goodness).

The path was along the American River parkway and was mostly shaded. I broke off from the group a bit, and spent a peaceful 20 minutes soaking my feet in the water which is snowmelt, and quite cold.

I'm reading voraciously (mostly novels -- mysteries and romances), which is relaxing. There was a timeless quality to Sunday. I kept looking up at the wall clock, to find it was still afternoon.
